# Exit codes

> What each process exit code means, checked against the codes the source actually sets.

Status: Available

The build fails if the source sets an exit code this page does not document.

| Code | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `0` | The command completed. |
| `1` | The command failed and printed the reason prefixed with “BOARDROOM:”, or a doctor probe did not verify. |
| `2` | Document extraction, provider preflight or a live phase did not complete successfully. Inspect its structured result, warnings and receipts. |
| `130` | terminal-check or the live terminal was cancelled with Escape or Ctrl+C; terminal modes are restored. Live cancellation attempts a partial export and retains uncertain costs. |
