# Check your terminal

> Try typing, pasting and resizing in an isolated fictional-stream probe, without model calls.

Run this in an interactive terminal:

The screen is labelled **Technical validation — fictional stream**. Type while the sample updates, paste several lines, resize the window, then press Enter to submit the scratch draft.

- Backspace removes one whole character, including combined accents and emoji.
- Pasted line endings are normalized; terminal control bytes are removed before display.
- Escape or Ctrl+C cancels with exit code `130` and restores the terminal modes.
- Piped input is refused.

Input stays in memory: it creates no project data, does not advance playback and calls no model. This is a small input probe, not a live meeting or a text editor.
