# Diagnose your installation

> Run the local storage and document probes, and read which optional capabilities are blocked and why.

`doctor` runs separate local probes and prints a JSON report:

| `platform`, `architecture`, `runtime` | Where the probes ran |
| `checkpointReopen` | A real LangGraph SQLite checkpoint was written and reopened |
| `fts5` | SQLite full-text search executed a real query |
| `pdfDocx` | The packaged PDF and DOCX extractors read the bundled fictional fixtures |
| `liveProviders` | `implemented-unverified`: adapters exist; real-account qualification is pending |
| `embeddings`, `commandsMcp` | Unavailable in this build |
| `cloudTelemetry` | Always `off` |
| `optionalProbes` | Optional capabilities with an explicit blocked reason, such as a missing account or runtime assets |

`doctor` exits with code `1` if a required probe does not verify. An absent optional prerequisite is reported as blocked, never as a passed test.
