# Your first real meeting

> Prepare the implemented live workflow, authorize its calls and keep its pending real-account qualification visible.

The complete live CLI and terminal workflow is implemented. It has passed deterministic tests with the real application, databases, terminal and installed package, replacing only provider HTTP responses. **Plan 02 is not accepted yet:** the complete meeting with real accounts, remote usage and cancellation checks remains pending. ## Prepare before sending anything

1. [Build or extract a candidate](/docs/install/). Use `node dist/cli.js` from a checkout, `./boardroom` in a macOS/Linux candidate, or `.\boardroom.cmd` in a Windows candidate.
2. Follow the [live quickstart](https://github.com/francoisnoel62/Boardroom/blob/main/docs/live-quickstart.md) to create a project, authorize one text source and select its exact saved lines. An initial plan is optional.
3. Configure the Product Owner, Lead Developer and Marketing Manager with three distinct catalog models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Never put keys in question JSON or command arguments.
4. Review the dated rates, selected context, duration and USD ceiling. The quickstart starts at zero and refuses execution until you explicitly choose a funded ceiling. For its team, the current catalog requires at least 6.37 USD and 390 seconds of conservative headroom; this is not a forecast of the charge. **Explicit, potentially billable calls**
  Live phases send selected text and phase inputs to your configured providers under their pricing and terms. A separate, explicitly authorized preflight exercises each required schema with synthetic inputs and consumes budget. Catalog rates expire after 2026-10-14; refresh the catalog through its documented review before later calls. Local cancellation does not prove zero remote billing.

## Advance the meeting

After preparing the team and `question.json`, the following checkout command opens the terminal and authorizes provider calls when you advance phases. Replace the IDs with those returned by preparation.

| Terminal command | What happens |
| :--- | :--- |
| `start` | Freeze the selected context and reserves, ask the PO for framing, then wait for you. |
| `approve N` | Approve the actual displayed framing version; `correct N FILE` saves a correction requiring approval again. |
| `analyse` | Ask all three advisers independently on the same factual baseline. |
| `debate` | Build the proposal, confront sourced objections and preserve revisions. |
| `views N` | Collect each adviser's view on the exact displayed proposal version. |
| `decide N deferred REASON` | Save your choice separately; accept, reject or request investigation are also available. |
| `export` | Write a new plan, memo and sanitized JSON record; review them before sharing. |

During a phase, `inspect`, `history`, `evidence`, `stop`, `conclude` and `export` remain available. `conclude` stops ordinary work; request `views N` explicitly on a saved proposal. Escape/Ctrl+C cancels, settles outstanding work and attempts a partial export. It cannot guarantee that the remote provider stops charging.
